App features and requirements

Below you can find the list of features available in Judo Mobile app for competitions organized with JudoManager software.

Basic requirements for the app to work properly:

  • stable internet connection during the event
  • JudoManager Packet Sender with Sending to API option enabled
  • Synchronization enabled in JudoManager Desktop
  • Competition publicly visible on JudoManager Portal

Some of the features requires additional setup and requirements to work properly, specified in the feature description.

Real-time competition results​

Follow judo competitions in real-time. Get live results, fight details and statistics during the event. All other functionalities depend on this feature.

Requirements and limitations:

  • Feature works out of the box, no additional setup required.

Interactive category draws​

Preview category draws with interactive brackets. Directly go to the contest details, judoka profiles.

Requirements and limitations:

  • If the latest results are not fully synchronized, the draw may not be available or fall back to the PDF view.
  • Some less popular draw systems may not be interactive and show as PDF view.
  • Feature works out of the box, no additional setup required.

Judoka profiles​

View judoka profiles with detailed information about the athlete, including the list of contests, results and personal data.

Requirements and limitations:

  • For now judoka details shows data from the current competition only.
  • Feature works out of the box, no additional setup required.

Contests order and results​

Check the contests order and monitor the progress of the competition. Follow the results of the contests with detailed information about the fight, including scores, penalties and time.

Requirements and limitations:

  • The order of contests is available only during the competition.
  • Feature works out of the box, no additional setup required.

Competition statistics and medals​

View medals table and statistics of the competition, including the number of contests, judoka and countries participating in the event.

Follow favorite judoka​

Select the most interesting judoka and follow their progress during the competition.

Notifications about upcoming contests​

Never miss a contest of your favorite judoka. Get notifications about upcoming contests.

You can select when you want to receive the notification, in the app settings.

Competition image, outline and schedule​

View the competition outline and schedule to know when the categories are planned to start.

Requirements and limitations:

  • If no image is uploaded, the fallback image will be shown with partner logos. You can upload the image in JudoManager Admin or send us by email.
  • Outline will be shown only if it will be uploaded to JudoManager Admin as a PDF file.
  • To add schedule you need to send it to us by email with list of event name, start time and end time.

In-app live streams​

Watch live streams of the competition directly in the app.

Requirements and limitations:

  • Live streams are available only if the competition organizer provides the YouTube links in JudoManager Admin.
  • YouTube live streams needs to be public and available for embedding.

Replay contests after the event​

Watch again the contests of favorite judoka whenever you want.

Requirements and limitations:

  • YouTube links needs to be configured in JudoManager Admin.
  • YouTube live streams needs to be public, embeddable and available after the event.
  • We recommend showing scoreboard on the live stream. This allows fixing contests moments when live stream has missing frames. When live stream does not have scoreboard, contests videos could show incorrect live stream fragments.
  • Cutting the video could result in improper video playback.
  • Replays are available after the YouTube stream is finished and processed.
  • Contests needs to have correct start and end time to be available for replay.
